KIM ABELES is dedicated to creating poignant, contemporary work with both universal and personal relevance. In her new body of work “Newport Coast 260º” Abeles maps areas of coastal Orange County while revealing environmental, political, and social topics. She creates a personal and relevant dialog uniquely meaningful to Southern Californian viewers. The exhibits at SCAPE and the Shed coincide with the 2007 regional and national focus on women.
